I found this other one in the same wood pile that was attatched to a larger piece of logs.

Wood Sculptures found on the road side
One of my favorite things to do is drive around town early in the morning with a nice cup of coffee, quiet, no radio, windows down and hunt for unique pieces of wood. Sometimes I won't know what to do with them until I get them home and have them sit in my back yard for a few months. This looked like something I could use.
I started to put all these pieces of wood together to make a skeleton of a prehistoric scorpion. The head was taken from a BBQ that we went to. It look unique so I threw it in the back of my truck before they could put it in the smoker.
The curves pieces I found on a totally different day on the other side of town. I just junkmaned it up and went where it took me..This is a one of a kind.
Sometimes I give stuff like this away to people who really appreciate the artistic point of view. This is now a beautiful addition to a rustic home office. This is Junkman style..

So I found this old spindle.
I found this spindle a few months ago and never could decide what to do with it. Some times you just have to look at it a few hundred times to get an idea...You can see the video on You Tube. Texas Junkman

So I found this one string guitar someone threw out..
I found this old scratched up Guitar with one string hanging on for dear life! I spray painted it chrome and several different colors.
I kept brainstorming with colors and paints. I had no particular style I was going for just going where the paint took me.
This is the back of the Guitar, but the more I looked at it the more it needed something else..
This is my very first attempt at spray paint art..
This is just a close up of the back of the Guitar. This is Junkman style..giving new life to old junk.
And yes it is always for sale....
Before and After furniture rehab on a 40 dollar dresser.
We negotiated and talked the price of this dresser down to 40 bucks at a recent Estate Sale.
We decided to get the aqua color and make it real funky. After 2 coats of primer and 3 coats of paint from Lowes.
The hardware was painted nickle with two coats.
After the poly it shined and it transformed into a very nice piece.
This is the junk man style. Giving new life to old junk. We get great comments on our T.V. stand all the time.
